On the day of Sri Krishna Janmashtami; special pooja of Lord SriKrishna performed in the nandi mantapa of Sri Mahabaleshwara Temple. Dadhi Shikyotsava concluded : The Utsava of Lord Mahabaleshwara with all its pomp and glory moves in the town in Gokarna and while moving, the earthen pot filled with curds will broken in 19 special places. It is a Utsava, where all the people of Gokarna and the visiting devotes will be attend with devotion .
